Of the three options you can get with our helmets, this is easily our favorite. Is it over half the price of a bump helmet? Yes. Is it worth it? Honestly, we think so.

The Can-Fit strap kit uses a ratcheting mechanism on the back of the helmet to conform to your head quickly and comfortably.

The straps come with everything you need for installation, and have two sets of installation holes punched in them for two broad ranges of sizing adjustment. Once installed into the helmet, four buckles allow you to fine-tune the fit around your chin. Finally, tightening down the ratchet knob will take up the slack in the rear of the straps and pull the helmet snugly against your head. Because you control the tension as you put it on, it Can-Fit a broad range of head sizes without too much fiddling! When you're ready to take it off, just pull the knob to release the ratchet, and unbuckle the chin as normal.

Installs as a replacement for the stock strap kit in both our bump and ballistic helmets (requires the removal of the forehead area foam from the stock kit, which opens the helmet up much more).
Fits a wider range of heads than the stock strap kit.
More durable and comfortable mechanism than the stock strap kit.
Okay, I'll just say it. I think the stock strap kit kinda sucks.
Helmet liner friendly! The ratcheting mechanism allows you to add or remove a thin beanie or helmet liner under the helmet without adjusting anything.
Requires the removal of the forehead area hard foam used as part of the stock strap kit. You will need to add more padding in the forehead area to replace it, but most people find this to be the more comfortable option.
Potentially interferes with over-ear hearing protection, depending on how low you set up the side straps. If you aren't sure if it's going to be a problem for you, shoot us a message!
